Objectives

The objectives of the programme are:

1. To expose candidates to English, French, Yoruba and Arabic Languages for effective communication worldwide.
2. To give them ample opportunities to interact with staff and students of the University in the above-mentioned languages, and thereby developing their competence in the latter.
3. To acquaint the students and educators with the rudimentary workings of those languages   from a user point of view;
4. To make the University more accessible to foreigners.
5. To further enhance the international status of the University.
6. To make the them functionally proficient
7. To provide sufficient foundation and impetus for further self-development.
